We inherited British system of medical education about which Todd committee had said that it should aim to develop a student only as a broadly educated person, who needs to go for more specialised training before he can practice medicine!

Over the last 53 years, there have been murmurs of
discontent and a few cosmetic changes which were more like a patch-up than a complete white wash. One of the areas, which we have been persistently neglecting is the
training of medical teachers in educational technology because we seem to believe in born teachers rather than made teachers.
