Acupuncture
Dr. Khan, a medically well qualified medical teacher, has obtained his medical graduation degree in Traditional Unani Medicine from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He got first class first position in medical graduation (BUMS) course including “Honours Marks” in the subject “MEDICINE”. He also did doctorate in “Traditional Medicine” from Faculty of Medical Studies, University Colombo.

He completed diploma from India, Ceylon & China on Acupuncture. He also acquired medical knowledge from other several countries like Pakistan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, U.K. etc. To gain more knowledge he keeps contact with several learned bodies, research Institutes etc of the world. Though, he gained medical knowledge from his medical education course but he also inherited secret medical knowledge by his three generation medical practicing.

Besides his medical practice he is also working as an associate professor of medicine of Dhaka University’s constituted Institute the “Govt. Unani – Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh.

He began his career as Traditional Medicine’s medical doctor and teacher in the year of 1988 and since then he is providing his medical service to the patients who are suffering from complicated and chronic diseases.

Dr. Khan has the unique combination of education and experience. No other acupuncturist in Dhaka / Bangladesh has a comparable education and experience. Every Acupuncturist knows the location of acupuncture points. But this hardly will result in successful treatment of most conditions. There is a secret that a student does not learn from the books. The key to success is the knowledge of the centuries old treatment recipes. The secret knowledge is the centuries old combination of points that an acupuncturist should stimulate in treating a particular condition. Dr. Khan has learned the secrets that were passed from one generation of practitioners to the next through personal old-fashioned apprenticeship with Far East practitioners.

Dr. Khan believes that a doctor must be updated about his latest professional information and is eager to know recently discovered knowledge to provide best service to his patients. Therefore, he attends different symposiums, conferences etc. in home and abroad to gain more knowledge and delivered speech to exchange and share his own views, experiences with the other doctors for achieving best results in his medical practice. For the sake and betterment of his patients he often consults and exchanges views, treatment plans etc. with other experienced doctor friends around the world.

Apart from his teaching service he has his own medical practice at the capital city Dhaka (Acupuncture in Dhaka). Dr. Khan treated several patients suffering from different kind of diseases. Some of them improved tremendously just after few days of treatment. His followed treating system is based on experiences, medical researches, scientifically proved inherited knowledge, latest information etc. Therefore, sometimes he only applies Acupuncture therapy, sometimes he prefers Herbal Medicines and in some of cases he used both Acupuncture and Herbal Therapy.
