Presently serving as the Professor and Head of the Deptt. of Forensic Medicine & Toxilogy at Katihar Medical College, a private medical college recognised by the Medical council of India and affiliated to B.N.Mandal University, Madhepura.In addition to the present responsibility, I have also served as Medical Superintendent, Katihar Medical College & Hospital, Katihar from 11.12.2000 to 22.12.2003.
I was a Member of Bharat Coking Coal Limited, Dhanbad’s “Apex Age Assessment Board” as “Forensic expert”, during my service tenure at Patliputra Medical College, Dhanbad.I have performed more than 4000 medico-legal autopsies at Patliputra Medical College besides teaching and other allied medico-legal work.I have also served as external examiner for various universities like Calcutta, Patna, and Magadh etc.Also served various Universities as the question setter for the subject of Forensic Medicine for the undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.Served various universities like Ranchi University, Vinoba Bhawe University, Hazaribagh and B N Mandal University, Mahepura as the Internal University examiner for the Undergraduates in Forensic Medicine.
