Born in Karachi he grew up in a family totally engaged in manufacturing and trading of alternative medicines. During his graduation he was inspired by his late father Dr. A.W. Hamid.- a man who needs no introduction, he started his multi-practitioners spectrum Clinic in Arambagh, Karachi. His consultancy services cover most European countries. He has participated in many international seminars and conferences on health and other related fields. Also, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the Magazine CHASMA-E-SHIFA. In addition, he is the President of HPCA (Sindh).

Islam Hamid handles international sales & marketing, exports & imports of Homoeopathy and Phytotherapy medicines, raw materials and packaging materials. He is the managing director of Baba-e-Homoeopathy Dr. Hamid’s National Homoeo. Stores.
He is the in-charge of organic research laboratory and Delta Pharma, Karachi, Pakistan.
